Swarthmore Parents

I’m sure there are driving lessons in the Swarthmore area. After all, Wallingford-Swarthmore high school aged students learn to drive, too. My opinion is that unless there is a specific need, driving lessons are best done at home on school breaks. There are plenty of other things first year students need to be doing, and you probably don’t want your first year student driving (someone else’s car) first semester.

And for the record, the minimum non-commercial driving age is 16 years in PA ([PennDOT Driver and Vehicle Services - Classes of Licenses](<a href=“DVS Home”>DVS Home)). Don’t forget to let your auto insurance company know if your licensed college student driver will not be driving while in school and save $$$.

Hi Swat parents! My freshman d is assigned to Dana basement. Online, rooms look a bit smaller than the upper floors and without closets—am I right? are there freestanding wardrobes in those rooms or did they build closets that aren’t reflected on the floorplan?

Thanks!
