My daughter (current third year) received her acceptance on March 16. Wonder if it will be the 12th or the 19th this year? It is high on my son’s list. He was just accepted EA at University of Richmond, and really likes it there, but I think a nod from Swat would bump them out of his top spot. I know I’d love to have two at Swat for his freshman (her senior) year!

Decision Date Update: I sent an email, and they finally got back to me.
Dear Nate,
The official date for release of Admissions decisions is April 1. We may release decisions a little earlier; however, a date has not yet been confirmed. Please know that we will send you an email letting you know when you are able to view your decision through the online portal.

Nope. They’re not committing to any release date before April 1.
Weird. Their web site says mid-March. Has it changed?
many schools have pushed back their decision dates due to the high numbers of applications this year so Swarthmore may have done the same thing. however, they haven’t announced a date yet, so it could still be mid-march.
Hi. @NATE20082915 a few days ago on this thread shared a response from Swat admissions, saying it would be April 1 or perhaps a bit earlier. The original planned time was mid-March, and they don’t seem to have announced a change, but likely to be later, if that email is reliable. Thanks to Nate, who shared that info. Wishing everyone well.
ahhh I hope decisions come out before April 1 :)) swarthmore has been my favorite school since freshman year
