<p>Is there anywhere on campus where I can get personal swimming help? My class isn't fundamentally bad (in terms of breathing and stroke movements...), but it's going at a rate far too fast for me; and unfortunately I'm the only person having very serious trouble learning things (mostly because of body composition). The teacher doesn't seem to have any time to help me with this.</p>
<p>i was in a small class (think there was 8 of us) and i was pretty much the last one to pass the swim test…</p>
<p>for me it was more about being able to relax in the water. </p>

<p>when you’re doing the front stroke to pull through the water make sure your thumb enters the water first (not the pinky). you should be able to create enough pull to breathe on your side properly. </p>
<p>tight abs and clench your butt up. </p>
