Swimming pool, engineering dorms, coops/internships

Okay, this is trivial, but is there an indoor swimming pool on campus?

Also, is there an engineering dorm, or an engineering floor in any particular dorm?

How far is Seattle U from the University of Washington?

Are there coops/internships available for engineering students?

Sorry for all these questions, but trying to put it all in one, rather than a bunch of single threads.

I can only answer one: Seattle U is a 12-15 minute drive from UW.

Yes. There might be two actually? But definitely at least one, and it’s free to use for students.

No. There aren’t really any major-specific floors or residence halls; there are theme floors, but none of them are centered around specific majors

LasMa got it–but that’s 12-15min driving. If you’re taking the bus, it takes maybe three times as long.

Definitely. Boeing, in particular, has a good relationship with SU, from what I hear. I’m not an engineering major and don’t know too much about it, but I’ve heard even some of the early engineering classes will pair you up with local organizations to solve real-life problems in engineering. And even as a freshman you can start to get involved in Engineering Without Borders.

The College of Science and Engineering’s web site is here. Take a look at the Project Center tab; I know every year the engineering students put on Projects Day and present some of the work they’ve come up with:
