cornell requires a swimming test but for p.e. classes, you can be the manager of a sports team instead?

are you THAT uncoordinated?

ya for real. just do a p.e. class and stay in shape. cornell has so many options so there’s got to be something that interests you.

if you don’t want to take an “active” PE class, there are lots of options that work on relaxation, stress management, meditation, yoga, etc.

i prefer to exercise by myself and not in a class, that’s all. cornell does have some interesting p.e. classes though. i’m not opposed to taking them; some of them sound fun. but being the manager of a sports team also sounds like it could be fun so that’s why i wondering.

one of my friends is taking a fitness class that requires students to go to the gym in their spare time, so she’s able to use the equipment for free while her teacher checks their performance via card swipe logs. maybe that’s something you’d be interested in for more individual exercise?

yeah that does sound good! :)
