Could someone who is a on swimming "scholarship" possibly tell me what are good times to shoot for in the 200fr and 100br? I believe you guys swim in 25 yard pools, if otherwise please say. I just want to gauge how well I am swimming and what WP is looking for.

*I know if you get in you have full ride, but who got in based of their swimming abilities?

All the results can be found there, assuming you meant the swim team when you used the term "scholarship". ;-) While athletes can be "recruited" by a service academy, there are no scholarships involved.

lol did you read the bottom of my post, I tried to say that, I just didn't know the word for it. I have seen that website, I suppose I should have mentioned that, but say my times are about in the middle of WP swim team's times (that is for the 200fr, I go low 1:50s).

just for laughs, these times are all better than my school records, except the 50 fr, 21.97, so I don't feel to bad.

it is unfortunate that I can't swim, as I lettered 4 yrs and was sr. captain, but I look at it as a sacrifice for the Point. I could have swam at some collge definetly, but I want WP more than anything, so I let swimming go.

low 1:50's is good, but I you have a year, train insanely. I had a similiar time, and was a no go.

yea bad news I got injured, my ankles hurt so bad because our coach is having us do these really intense kicking sets. He is planning on having all of us go 35 in a 50m kick by the end of the summer!YIKES!! I can only go 50 right now with my ankles injured. The fastest kid, a sophmoore, goes 37.

Anyways, thanks for the info guys and good luck at the beast.
