Someone already said it.

SWINE FLU = NORMAL FLU.

Stop feeding the ■■■■■■ that are the news networks. Shut off your idiot box please if you can’t think for yourself.

Someone said that its “much worse than a light cold”. WELL NO S#%@!. So is the regular flu! I had influenza two years ago and I felt the sickest I’ve ever been for seven days. The flu is not the common cold, obviously. But it’s not going to kill you unless you’re a baby or extremely old and sickly.

Secondly, someone said that people don’t have antibodies for this “special flu.”

Guess what? No one has antibodies for the normal flu, either. If we did, no one would ever get the flu, ever. Why do you think there is a different flu shot every year? Because the strain keeps changing, much like the rhino virus (common cold). And frankly, the flu shot has not been proven conclusively to increase your protection. The influenza strands are numerous and changing. Getting the flu shot is more of just like keeping your fingers crossed that you won’t get influenza this year (or the specific kind the shot is protecting against.)

P.S. Anyone wanna buy this bridge I have?
