<p>So sort of on a whim, I applied EDII to my top choice school a week ago that I was originally planning to apply RD to. Since my application, I've had some doubts -- the school is still my favorite but I'm not sure if I want to commit.
Will it hurt my application chances if I switch the application to RD? (I mean, will they be any worse than if I applied RD rather than switched to RD?) Is this even a possibility? Does it matter when I switch the application (i.e. now or in an month)? Does anyone have experience with this?
Should I even switch the application? It is my favorite school but I'm really scared of commitment and want to find out where I get in and then decide (though I'll probably choose this school anyhow).
Thoughts anyone?</p>
<p>If you’re scared that you may be making a mistake, switch to RD, and make sure you do that before they make any decisions. That way, you’ll avoid being stuck with a college that you don’t want to attend.</p>
