Switching from Chem E to mech e or aere e?

Hi,
I went to chem e because I like math and chemistry. I guess I liked chemistry because of all the demos from HS. Anyways, chemical engineering doesn't seem that interesting anymore. I mean it's Largely biology/biochem based. I'm more interested in working with bigger stuff, like machineries or airplanes or something cool, as oppose to something microscopic.

Right now, I'm feeling that chem e is almost all microscopic, and I want to switch to aero e or mech e. But after all, chemical engineering is the most broad field of engineering - they are more knowledgeable. So I'm looking for some input that might help me make a solid decision about what field I want to be in and get started on those research and internships.

anybody?

I’d argue that MechE/ChemE/EE have the broadest set of knowledge.

Anyway I think MechE is a good fit for you since you’ll be able to work on tiny to large scale subjects that aren’t exclusive to biological/biomedical.

sweet, I got a response after 160 views. anybody else?
