<p>I am only missing one calc course that is required to declare Econ as a major at UCSB. I am planning on taking it this summer prior to transfer. If I SIR with SB and then take that class in the summer am I able to declare a change of major prior to starting class at SB so I am begin taking the upper division Econ classes? I'm afraid of going to SB as a poli sci major and then getting stuck there as one. My major gpa is a 3.79 and my CC gpa is a 3.5. Any advice/constructive is welcome.</p>
