I want to switch into a different chem 1a lecture (time conflict with another class), but I don't want to lose my discussion. Is there any way I can do this, or can I just go to any chem lecture since there is only one professor (and will I still be able to do the i clicker quizzes even if I go to a different lecture)?

yes, you can go to any lecture and still get points for your clicker quizzes. it doesn't matter which lecture you attend.

what exactly are clicker quizzes?

Can we change discussion times?

You can change lab times but you'll just end up on the wait-list because they are all full and already have multiple people on each wait-list.

will they open up othr labs at the same times as available ones?
the lab i want tues or thurs from 1 to 5 both have like 30 ppl waitlisted, enough for an entirely new section....

I am also very curious in finding out what a clicker quiz is like. I hope it's like Jeopardy.

Last year's Chem 1A lectures are all available as downloads on Itunes U. Listen to the first couple of sessions to learn about the Clickers and clicker quizzes.

itunes.berkeley.edu

why is it that so many ppl arent even in the lab.... isnt it required?
