Switching LEP majors possible?

I'm currently accepted as an International Business major; however, I kind of want to switch into Finance. (I wasn't really thinking when I was doing my application. I kind of chose my major on a whim. Stupid of me, I know.) Both are LEPs. Would it be possible to switch from one LEP into after a semester or two? I do want to give IB a try, but I feel like I might want to switch after a few semesters. I'd think that the required courses should be pretty similar, so I don't think that it would be a problem in that respect. But, I'm not sure if you're allowed to switch into an LEP...

Both are part of one LEP - The Smith School of Business.

Changing your major from International Business to Finance would be no different from changing from one Engineering major to another in the Engineering school.

Like Terp2014 said they are both in the business school and all you do when switching your business concentration is go to your bschool advisor and say you want to switch. But as far as trying it out your first semester you would be taking the same basic business classes as you would in finance since you dont start your major classes until your junior year really. You might want to double major in both anyways because IB is like 5 or 6 extra classes only than finance and thats basically the same amount of classes needed for a minor so thats pretty easy to do.

Its much easier to switch majors within the school of business than to switch into the school of business later.
