<p>Hi,
I was accepted to Purdue as an undecided major but I want to see if I can change that.
I know you can "change" your major after the first semester however I want to see if I
can be directly admitted to that major before I make my deicison to attend or not.
I don't want to have to suffer freshman year constantly thinking that I might not be able to tranfer to that major because my grades aren't good enough. Also the possibility of not getting into that major.
Is this possible or has anyone tried talking to the admission counselor?
This is really important to me since I have gotten accepted to other colleges in that major and
if I do get into Purdue with that major I would most likely to go Purdue.</p>

But does anybody know what happens if I don’t get accepted to that major?
Would I just stay undecided?</p>
<p>Side note - if you have merit money, you have to stay in your admitted major for at least a year to keep the money.
