Switching majors after the common app?

<p>If I declare a major on the common app, such as economics, can I switch my major to chemistry after being accepted by a college so that I can start freshman year with a chem major instead?</p>

<p>you don’t declare a major on the common app. You state your interest. Majors aren’t declared until the end of your freshman year of college.</p>
