<p>I have been admitted into UCLA, but under my alternate major-women's studies. I emailed two history counselors and they both told me i could switch into the major at orientation. I'm a male that was admitted into UCLA as a women's studies major. I don't really have an interest in the subject at all, and i just put that as my alternative major to improve my chances of getting in the school. So, would i not be allowed to switch, solely because i'm a male who's a women's studies major student. In other words: would they be suspicious about why i want to switch to history from a women's studies major? Or does it not matter at all? Any feedback will be appreciated :)</p>

<p>I put women’s studies because i heard you could switch into history once you’re admitted as an ucla student, so i wanted to increase my chances. I had TAP and i didn’t really complete any pre reqs for any other major so i chose WS because it had limited pre reqs.</p>
