<p>Are accepted students allowed to switch majors in Penn Engineering before they enroll from what they initially put on common app, because I applied to mechanical engineering and I want to switch to curriculum defered.</p>

<p>You can email your advisor over the summer when he or she is assigned to you. Don’t worry about it now. Seriously. It literally does not matter.</p>

<p>I’m not sure if you can change back to Curriculum Deferred, but you can be de facto CD by talking with your advisor. Through freshman year you can still explore and change majors.</p>
