Switching Majors?

I applied to the school of Agriculture and Life Science and I plan on sticking with my bio major (if I get in..heh..). Out of curiousity though, if I wanted to change my major at Cornell from like Biology to Engineering, would that be a pain in the ass, or is it common?

I meant to type curiosity*, sorry I was in a rush.

It is pretty easy...comparatively, as in relation to other schools. Switching majors is VERY easy, but what you're talking about is switching schools within cornell. It can still be done, but is a bit harder. At any rate, transferring between schools within cornell is supposedly a breeze...

Would I have to reapply to change schools?

no, but there's two ways to transfer college w/in cornell: direct transfer where the school just accepts you the term you are applying into or the internal transfer division where they "sponsor" you for a semester and if you meet a certain criteria (usually a certain gpa) then you are automatically accepted into the college you wanna go into. really easy in my case.

Note however that going INTO engineering is harder than leaving it, mostly because of pre-req's and such.
