the ease of switching colleges at cornell?
perhaps from human ecology to ilr
if rejected from switching will there be another chance or am i stuck in human ecology forever?

sorry I can’t help you
but I’m considering HumEc for PAM - what major are you doing and why do you want to switch? just wondering. I’m having trouble deciding between HumEc and ILR so it would help me out.

No stats here, but from what my daughter has told me of her close friends last year - one switched from CAS to Hotel, another from AEM to CAS. Someone from her high school got into Hotel, but always wanted to be in Architecture, took as many classes in Architecture as possible for 2 years, but was ultimately rejected. Hotel school also wouldn’t release this student to the Architecture school, so if he was accepted he would have to do 5 years programs to get both degrees. The one I hear is more risky is to switch from Engineering to other schools - once you decide to switch out of Engineering, you are put on a different track for a semester, if you are not successful in switching out then you may lose your spot in Engineering. This information may not be accurate, my daughter mentioned it to me in passing.

i heard some schools their students really decide their major at orientation?
