Hello All,

I signed up for the June Math I SAT subject test, not knowing how useless it is compared to the Math II test. I have been talking to a couple of my friends and they say that on test day, I can actually choose to take either Math I or Math II, similar how you can choose the Biology E or M. Is this true? Can I take Math II?

Thanks for the answer. But I have another question. Right now, my registration is listed as Mathematics Level I. But when I take Level II, won’t the score be put in that Math I spot and when I send my score report to colleges, won’t they see it as me having taken Math I instead of II?

Thanks again

You select the official test on the actual day of the test. There is no significance to the type of test you signed up for, it is what you bubble in on test day. Your scores will not get mixed up or anything.
