Hi guys,
I have a first floor double room in Ware house. Does anyone want to switch with me who has a different floor (2nd, 3rd or 4th)? We are allowed to switch if both parties agree.

haha.... anyone get stuck in the quad who really, really wanted to be in hill? cause i'll trade ya.

p.s. I'm still excited

im in a single in riepe, but why would you want a higher floor?

I feel like im in the middle of nowhere on the 4th floor...

how do you know already? I thought we find out housing assignments tomorrow at 10AM at the earliest.

I feel like the view is nicer the higher the floor. Also, if you are on the top floor you won't have to listen to the person above you constantly.

hahaha ya i suppose you're right. I would switch with you, but I'm in a single.

um.... plus, the 1st floor is actually halfway below ground level.

just so no one gets duped.

just hope that it doesn't flood down there (though if it does, you get to live in the sheraton!)

im in a quad suite at rodin..neone up for a switch if ur in a single in the quad...im game...

lol if you are in rodin, i would stay.

are we allowed to switch out of res-programs?

lol why jf215?

Check the map for your house. Some of the buildings look like they have a ground floor and then a first floor. I don't know if that means that the first floor isn't actually right on ground level. You should call housing and find out if that's the case.

hey, i have a double in Fisher. 4th floor. i love my location, i was just wondering if theres anyone who doesnt like their roommate and wants to swap roommates and come live with me. preferably someone who is also in the quad/Fisher. let me know!!

before you all think about where you want to switch, remember that the room swap date is september 20th-21st. you'll have to live with your assigned roommate for the first few weeks, so try to be hopeful / optimistic, not necessarily pessimistic.

does that room swap date on the 20th of september mean that a student can switch to a different dorm? i was assigned to a dorm i didn't even put down as one of my choices, and im really disappointed... so im interested to know if could switch in the future.

because when your sophomore year rolls around & there is a huge housing crunch, living in the high rises freshman year will assure you a room all 4 years. you wont be in the position of a lot of sophomores (people who dont have any housing at all, or really crappy housing)
