I have a similar question about switching schools after admitted by Georgetown. My case would be switching from school of Health to College of Arts & Sciences. I have EC related to Public Health and I can easily write a essay asked by PH on why are you interested in this field. But my newly developed interest in senior year is Economics when I take AP Econ course. So how difficulty to transfer to A&S if I am admitted by school of Health in GT?
Did you already apply?
If not, apply to the school you want.
Your ECs don’t require you to apply to a major related to it.
You can have health ECs and major in anything.
thanks for the reply. Haven’t applied yet. Working on the draft of two main essays. In additional to them, College of A&S and School of Health each asks one specific interest field related essay. Health essay seems straightforward to me because of EC.
You can write the essay for either given your experiences.
You don’t apply to a school knowing you don’t want to be there.
That’s silly.
Your experiences will also work for the College.
A liberal arts education from the College of Arts & Sciences involves encounters with new concepts and modes of inquiry. Describe something (a class, a book, an event, etc.) that changed your thinking.
