Switching schools?

I applied to Weinberg because I wanted to major in International Studies, but now I see that IS is an adjunct major requiring another major in a different subject. I want to double-major in IS and some engineering-school major, probably Comp Sci or Mech Eng.

To do this, do I have to apply for a transfer to McCormick? How do I go about doing so?

Thanks in advance :)

You can email McCormick's advisors/department heads and simply ask them. I did this over the summer before arriving, for SESP, and they simply transferred me in without any paperwork.

If you wait until you get here, you will probably have to do more work, so try to get in touch with people now and hopefully it won't be a problem.

I'll be visiting Tuesday and Wednesday, anyone I should seek out to ask then?

I guess you can go to the McCormick office but it's not really necessary to take care of it early. Couldn't hurt.

(I don't know where that is.)

Say I don't do anything until I get there in the fall. How hard is it to transfer once enrolled?

Uh... all I know is it will probably be more complicated, with paperwork and maybe some short answer stuff. That's how it is for SESP anyway; dunno about MEAS.
