switching schools

Hey, so I applied to the School of Humanities but I'm now considering majoring in neuroscience, or at least something more science-y. Is this going to be a problem? How do I go about switching schools?

It's easy. Over the summer Rice will send you a big packet of information and several sheets requesting information about yourself (health insurance stuff, roommate pairing information, etc.) that will include a sheet or two on academic advising information. On that form, just say that you're undecided physical sciences and they'll switch you over. It's not like it really matters though - the only thing that that will change is what type adviser they pair you with for orientation week advising. You can sign up for whatever classes you want and can declare a major in whichever area you want. (Architecture and Music are exceptions._

DD changed majors many times. Not a problem.

I know people who have changed majors 4 times. No worries.

Haha, you might change your mind from the sciences after your first class at Rice though =P.
