switching senior year classes over to credit/no credit

I've been slacking off like many seniors and I'm unsure if I can pull my grades up or not. Most likely I can if I put a lot more focus into it, but I've gotten really tired of staying up late and doing a lot of work for AP/IB classes. I'm pretty sick of the lifestyle this semester. I got into USC, but now I'm a little scared because I know I have to retain my grades. I'm planning to call the admissions people today (Monday) and ask them if I can switch maybe 2 or 3 of my classes to credit/no credit. By the way I have 6 classes plus 3 seminars that are basically 3 more classes.

Did any of you switch over to credit/no credit before you entered USC or know someone who has with no problems? Some of my friends said there were no problems switching over with the UCs, but I have no clue how USC will respond.

I called them and it seems like it's okay, but wow every one of the four calls I made weren't extremely helpful. One guy transferred me to the wrong department even though he was supposed to answer my question.

One lady I talked to mentioned something about taking the classes essential for graduation/USC's high school class requirements to be eligible. If I switch AP stats and AP Spanish to credit, I hope I'm fine. Really though, is there anyone that can reassure me about making this decision?

i'm usually on hold for about 5-10 mins before i actually talk to someone

anyone? 10char
