SYA Senior Year

Hello,
I've been accepted to and am highly considering attending SYA (France) for my senior year, and I was looking for any input with past experiences with the program... preferably for seniors who have gone, and how the college process played out from afar. I sincerely wish I had applied last year instead, because then I wouldn't be worrying about never returning to my school.
If anyone could let me know, I'd be so grateful!
Thanks

Have you asked the people who work in the US office of this program how previous students have handled the college application process? At the least, they should be able to put you in touch with students from recent years so that you can get their advice.

congratulations! When did you hear from SYA? Did it come by email or by regular mail? We are still waiting to hear either way from SYA and the acceptance date does not seem super-clear from the website.

I think senior year is the better time to go. Hopefully you’ve proven yourself junior year and have a stong record for the schools you’re applying to. I’ve sent dozens of kids on SYA programs and most have loved it. Beware: hard grading in Frnce.
