I applied to SU around November 15th, two months ahead of the deadline for regular decision. Even though I did not apply ED, does this help at all that I applied way before the deadline? I also want to know my chances of being accepted. My scores and GPA are a little low. I have a 1050 with my reading and math on the SATS and a 21 for my ACTS. My GPA is a 2.9. Despite this, I'm taking a lot of challenging AP classes my senior year and college credit courses, have done a ton of volunteer hours and extra curriculers, and have participated in a sport all three seasons since my freshman year. I applied undecided(although I intend to major in International Relations or Political Science) to the College of Arts and Sciences. SU is my top school. What are my chances and how do I stand?

what did you put down for your second choice school?
both your GPA and SAT/ACT are low for arts and sciences…especially for RD
you might have a chance for human ecology if your high school has a good relationship with Syracuse…

i don’t know if it will necessarily help you getting in by applying early, but you wont get a decision any sooner - ive heard letters aren’t sent out til mid-march.

I didn’t put down a second school choice. I know I won’t hear any earlier, I just was wondering if they would review my application any earlier.
