Sylvan SAT PREp Course any good??

Hey everyone, I am having some trouble with the SAT's, my scores are CR 560, MTH 640, and writing 590. I am hoping to bring my CR and MTH score up into the 1300-1400 range, I am just havin trouble with Critical reading. I took the SAt's in march again and I did worse, yes worse on every section, sucky I know. I think I am going to take the SAT's again in June and hopefully get in 1300's but if I dont I was thinking of doing a Sylvan SAT Prep Course over the summer.

Has anyone had any success stories after taking a course with Sylvan? I am gonna go all out with my Barron How to Prepare for the SAT's and the Blue Book after May 12(or whenever AP English comp. is over with).

Do a quick search on Sylvan in the forum search tool and you'll see if anyone's mentioned it. I haven't been here that long but I have not yet seen anyone talk about it.

i always recommend the Princeton Review SAT prep program. i think they do something the others don't. i have very successful kids who did it, and many others whom i referred. Sylvan (tho i don't know) is probably more of a tutoring situation, dealing only with CONTENT of the test. what's EXTREMELY important is coaching ON the test and the way it will ask questions. PR offers a variety of classes and refreshers. best of luck!
