hey man, on the Syracuse facebook group there are people commenting that they got their decisions last week (as RD's) so like you im anxious too dont worry hahaha

i just got an acceptance letter from syracuse. It was unexpected. I didn't know it will come this early. I thought it would be coming in April for some reason. I'm an international student by te way.

ah, yes, I do recall internationals and transfers hearing first last year.....

fwiw, I think I posted this elsewhere....... last year, decisions came out Fri Mar 14th....i'm predicting the 6th or the 13th this year.......

Don't freak out if others hear from Syracuse before you.
The University is very sporadic with their notifications. I know it's tough, but don't sweat it just yet!

I got mine about a week ago via email.
I haven't got a letter from them yet, but they notified that I was accepted via email with the copy of the acceptance letter

By the way, I'm an international student studying in Nebraska

Good luck to y'all :)

Just received notification via email. Admitted to College of Visual and Preforming Arts.

now by just recieved... you mean?

2800, r u international/transfer or r u just like the rest of us?

The time on the email was 3:30pm. I'm an out of state (IL) freshman.

My son received his email yesterday admitting him in the SI Newhouse School of Broadcast Journalism. The email had a link with a scanned image of his acceptance letter and mentioned that the acceptance packet was in the mail.

CONGRADULATIONS!

where are you applying from?

congrats!! collegefrenzy!!...D is a freshman at Newhouse....pm me if u have any q's.....

We are from Southern California (Orange County) and my son also got admitted to USC's Annenberg School of Communications. I posted a thread asking for any information on how the two compare. From what I understand Newhouse one of the best, if not the best, in the nation.

My wife and I both graduated from USC, but we want him to get the best education in broadcasting that will serve him best in his future career.

RODNEY - I would love to hear your thoughts about Newhouse and also your D's impression and experience as a freshmen.

Thanks!

The top three undergrad Journalism schools happen to be Northwestern, Syracuse and Missouri-Columbia; not respectively in ranking though. But Im definite that your son going to Syracuse; especially for Broadcast Journalism will be one of the best choices he will ever make.
