<p>House of London I’m surprised! You’re so knowledgeable about all things Syracuse…the third school along with Northwestern’s Medill and Syracuse’s Newhouse is University of Missouri, Columbia!</p>

<p>I was told by our GC that the top three private school programs for Sports Broadcast Journalism were Syracuse, UMiami and USC. Has anyone compared these three programs? And what about BU, we’re trying to make some decisions.</p>
<p>I just got admitted into VPA . I am curious though what housing at Syracuse is like. There are alot of different options. I am kind of interested in a suite because then I would have more than one roommate but can freshman get suites with other freshman and what are the other options for room like? I am the kind of person who needs at least some kind of space…</p>
<p>unfortunately freshman are randomly placed in housing so you have no choice in the type you get. I have visited the dorms though and I found them very nice soo whatever you get should be very nice. You can request to live in a learning community and there are different types like Arts and Adventures and stuff. It is just for like minded people to live together. I almost did it but in the end opted out of it.</p>
<p>I was just admitted into the Psych program at Syracuse today. I’m an incoming freshman btw. Really excited.</p>
<p>We just found out our daughter was accepted to the film school. We are all thrilled!!!</p>
<p>Just got accepted today as well for political science. I am definitely going to change majors though if I decide to go there (not too likely).</p>

Anyone know when they send out scholarship information?</p>

<p>S is sweating out Whitman also. 2 days ago Syracuse asked for IDOC from Collegeboard, don’t know if that means they’re sifting out people with financial need or figuring out how much to give.</p>

<p>frugola - my son got the IDOC request from Syracuse too and then the acceptance the next day, so I don’t think it is sifting them out.</p>
<p>Son found his acceptance to Engineering today - it had gone into his spam folder.</p>
