syracuse architecture

hey! i just wanted to know what the architecture program is like. is it hard to get into? what are they looking for in the portfolio? what are the SATs/ACTs of admitted students? the GPA of admitted students?

any other information will be great! thanks

hey, i'm not an architecture student, but I have friends who are. I only know that one of my friends had a 1300 SAT with the old scoring system, not sure about the new one. Architecture kids are all really close with each other because they spend tons of time on projects, I mean probably twice as much as all other majors. I know that it's mandatory you spend your fourth year in Florence and then go back to cuse for a fifth year, but I heard it's a really amazing experience and a very reputable school, the people I know graduating this year from the program are all going on to really good jobs.

whats florence?

study-abroad in Florence, Italy :)

keeeeeeeewl.

"I know that it's mandatory you spend your fourth year in Florence"

It isn't a mandatory study abroad; also there is a new permanent program in london and then programs at various schools across the world. I beleive that some students who arent able to attend the study abroad instead go during the summer or something like that. I don't quite remember. I'll be able to tell you more in like 6 months, lol.
