Syracuse Class of 2025 — Regular Decision

They extended their deadline by a few days, so seems highly unlikely that they would release earlier than mid march

i think it could be mid-march since it would be “by late march” which means it could come earlier than that… i literally have a gut feeling that u all are getting in so yeah

stats: 3.5 UW, 3.82 weighted
varsity athlete, tons of community service and clubs, a job, a decent essay, and my grades have drastically improved from freshman year to senior year, as well as my course difficulty has gone up. What are my chances?

oh okay that’s what I’m hoping for as well.

It depends on which school you applied to.

I applied to Whitman school of management for a undeclared business major.

congrats!

My academic stats are similar; I would say your chances are pretty good. Good luck!!

My son still hasn’t applied to honors. Keeps procrastinating since it’s due April 1. Whether he applied for honors wouldn’t be relevant to an admission decision, would it?

Does anyone know about SU’s applicant pool was like this year? Did they see an increase in applications like other schools?

I’m sure they have, but I haven’t found anything.

I did send in an update that I’m captain of Varsity Tennis, I am worried because my descriptions in my activity section are super brief so I’m not sure if my activities still look good.

I would be shocked if you didnt get in lol, not im worried my stats are much lower than yours.

I’m sure you’ll be fine! I am less worried about stats and more worried about my extracurriculars because my descriptions in my activity section were lacking.

With stats like that, there’s like a 0.1% chance you won’t get in lol

I also did an online interview with cuse. Does that give me a better chance at getting in? Other than that, I applied with a 4.0 weighted GPA, not too many EC’s (but a decent amount) and a decent essay.

I applied for the biology major for the college of arts and sciences. Is that a popular major? I’m really hoping to get in.

I also applied to Newhouse (which I know is increasingly difficult to get into) but if I don’t get in there, hopefully I’ll get into arts and sciences.

I did an online interview as well, and I applied to college of arts and sciences for neuroscience.
