<p>Hi, I have basically the same question. My son sent in his App on Nov.7th Faulk college. But I didn’t send in the CSS until Dec. 1 and didn’t know I had to send in the tax docs right away so I didn’t send them till Dec. 10! Did I blow it for his chances of finding out tomorrow? And we probably wont get FA package for weeks huh?

My dad turned in CSS sometime in October, but we didn’t know about the tax docs until about a week ago and Syracuse’s FA office emailed me back this past Monday saying they’d received them. I did call the FA office and they said it wouldn’t have any impact on admissions notification dates because the offices are separate. The day they find out their decision will most likely depend on when your son/daughter applied (if it’s before or on Dec. 1).</p>

<p>Regarding your application for financial aid… I would concur that it shouldn’t affect your admission timeline. Syracuse claims to have a “Need Blind” admissions process, essentially erecting a firewall between the admissions and financial aid departments so that a family’s financial need doesn’t affect admissions decisions. Whether your financial aid decision would be delayed I don’t know… but if you got the CSS done on time I would think that is of highest importance. The tax forms are really just confirmation of what you claimed I think. Good luck everyone!</p>
<p>I would also guess two more waves. Round 1 ED decisions are supposed to be done by Jan. 1. Assuming Friday releases, and assuming that they don’t work the Friday after Christmas (12/27), that leaves today and next Friday. We’ll see I guess!</p>

<p>I received mine at 1:04. I’ve never seen one sent this early in the day though. I wouldn’t be surprised if they kept coming out all the way until 5.</p>
