<p>I’m a sophomore at Syracuse, who is currently in A&S but hope to finally complete a successful intra-transfer into Newhouse. I applied early and can answer questions that people might have!</p>

Just noticed that the Syracuse 2018 FB group has a little under 300 members, which concerns me because if 1000 people apply, that’s already 30% of the applicants. Hopefully they’re not leaving a bunch of rejections for the third wave?!</p>

actually, after speaking to one of my friends, apparently there’s a chance we might have to wait a few more weeks (she knows someone who works there). I’m hoping not.</p>
<p>ED II is kind of annoying me just because now even if you applied by the regular early decision date, you could be notified with the EDII applicants. I applied ED so I would know by the end of December, and if I don’t find out this Friday I have to wait until January. Fingers crossed I find out this Friday or I’m going to be pretty upset. My application was in before the due date so I’m hoping that they get to it before Friday! I can’t wait any longer!</p>
<p>Well the website says that we will find out by the beginning of January which is different from ED2. But I want to find out before Jan. 1 because otherwise I might have to apply to other schools. I hope it’s this Friday</p>

<p>Yeah well the only reason it’s January now is because of the stupid deadline extension to Dec 1 instead of Nov 15 cause of everything with the common app. It used to be ED would find out by the end of December. And I think they close after the decisions go out this friday but I’m not positive</p>
<p>hi im new in here, my names olivia and i applied early decision to whitman business for marketing. i have yet to hear back also and am starting to freak out. have any of you applied regular decision and then changed your mind and sent in the early decision contract? (thats what admissions told me to do) i’m just wondering if that has anything to do with me not getting my decision yet. i even applied a month before the deadline</p>
<p>I spoke to someone in the admissions dep. last tuesday and they said all the early decision decisions have been made so I don’t know why they would hold them over the holiday…</p>
