Syracuse Engineering

How is syracuse's engineering program?

Bumpage (10 chars)

40% weed out rate.

Human carnage.

toadstool, its way more than 40%. Please just don’t throw out statistics wrecklessly.
The engineering program at Syracuse is extremely tough especially mechanical engineering and electrical engineering. You would come to realize that the majority of people that start out freshman year in engineering do graduate with a degree in engineer but believe you me those who do will be recruited.

House of London, How strong is their aerospace engineering program? Are many of the kids weeded out from that program as well? You say it’s good, yet how much better is it than
Clarkson U or WPI (if you know)?

I do not know how good it is in comparison to other schools but I know it is a good school but incredibly difficult to stay in. Like every other program in the engineering school, there is a high weeding out rate. Those who have a true passion for it end up lasting all four years but its only a handful. It’s the same way with the architecture school.
