I’m applying to Newhouse for next fall early decision and was wondering if you guys can tell me my chances. I’m going for Broadcast Journalism.
GPA: 3.762 Weighted (Out of 4.0)
1 AP: English IV
SAT: 1920 (Old), 1350 (New)
ECs: Helped found my schools radio station (lead broadcaster) YouTube Channel, and am a editor of newspaper.
Interned at a national news station and WCTC.
Was one of only 200 representatives around the world who attended the Washington Journalism and Media Conference.
Interview with rep went really well. Also was in contact with an alumni who was college broadcaster of the year there.
Letters of Rec: Really Good (From moderator of our media club, host of station I worked at, and science teacher who liked me a lot)
