So I heard that all musical theater acceptances for Syracuse were emailed at 5PM today, but there haven't been many/any postings, and I didn't hear one way or the other. Has anyone else heard that they were accepted/rejected today?

Does anyone know if it is too soon to worry/if it will come by snail mail?

Ben, who is VERY ansy this month ;)

One person received mail acceptance today and also got a phone call. I believe those letters are in the mail so we may hear as early as tomorrow.......

My son rec'd a phone call around noon and an email later in the afternoon. He has not yet posted on the Acceptance list.
I'm sure more good SU news is yet to come. :)

I'm just wondering...does ayone know if you didn't get a phone call on Friday, does that mean you weren't accepted? My D auditioned on February 2 for BFA Acting. (She hasn't been home to check her email.)

I wouldn't say that no e-mail is a bad sign at all. It actually means nothing. Everyone receives letters/calls/e-mails at completely different and random times, from what I've gathered, so I wouldn't worry at all!! The majority of people, I think, have heard nothing yet....so don't give up optimism!!

I just called the Syracuse theater admissions office and the woman who answered said that the decision letters/emails would be going out in waves (nothing more specific than that) so it's not necessarily a bad thing if you haven't heard anything yet.

nope, nothing here....nada.zilch.zippo.zero.absolutely nothing. no email. no call. no letter. .......
i hate checking the mail. all i get is BILLS!! what kind of a life is this? I don't want to be an adult, if all i get in the mail is bills. i need a college acceptance in the mail so i can feel like a kid again!! heheheehehehe
i DID have a good day, though. it's warming up in Vermont...and so that was nice. :)
tomorrow is another day for the postal service to love me.

I don't know if this helps, but I definately remember that last year my S received his acceptance by email about a week before his best friend received hers. A formal letter was received shortly after the email. And it was right around this time frame. It was his first acceptance, so don't give up hope!! It only takes one! Good luck!

The wait is just sososo hard! seriously, getting the mail is the scariest feeling!! I havent heard anything, who knows. Glad to know there are others feeling the same wayy!! :) goood luck all!

glad to know i could break the tension. i seem to do that at auditions, too. i like to make the other people laugh around me and i tend to make people relax a tad. guess im kind of a goof.
