Hello I am a high senior and was just wondering what you guys thought my chances are of getting into Syracuse for the College of Arts and Sciences for the fall of 2011.

So thank you to everyone in advance for reading my post. I really appreciate any input you have to give. Sorry if this post looks weird this is actually my first post on this lol.
Thank you Soooo much everyone and goodluck with ur applications.

invader: I will not chance you but please make sure you chose a “second choice” college at Syracuse on the common application supplement. If you are not eligible for arts and sci, they might admit you for a different school such as human ecology etc…

yeah don’t bother getting chanced, there is nothing you can do now… if people say you won’t get in then you’ll just be upset, and if people say you will get in you’ll get your hopes up and thats not always a good thing in this process.

I think you have an average chance, but it’s not for me to toell you you won’t because you may have something to offer to their school and I wish you good luck!

What are you interested in studying? Any ec’s, any work experience? What else besides classes? Any scores on the APs or are you taking them now? Sports? Hobbies? Lots to consider in each application.

Haha sorry- here’s the rest of my post
I also applied RD for the School of Arts and Sciences at SU; I actually live in Syracuse, NY. Financial aid is given, but not in large amounts I feel. If you can’t pay tuition, they’re onto the next one. I think you have a decent shot in getting into the school- i hope you made it evident that you are very interested in the school and showed some sort of “spark” that will catch admission’s eyes. My scores and GPA are lower than yours and I think there is some hope for me if that helps at all. I’m freaking out- it’s my top choice. I listed Human Eco. as my second school choice-what did you put for yours? But we should know the decision in less then a month as of now. Good luck to you!
