So still $34K+ (including rm and brd) with stats like that? That is frightening.
@ski_racer good for you! Is the 28 just merit, or does it include need based aid?
@ski_racer - wow great stats, thanks for sharing and congrats!
@byadg123 just merit. Apparently it’s the max merit they offer
@maffy66 they like basketball players more than smart Idahoans
@YoungOne4 yes I have that as well. Just changed today.
Regular decisions went out on March 17 last year
March 17 is a release date?
Speculation for March 16th for this year because it is the equivalent Friday of March 17th, 2017
@YoungOne4 It looks like a positive. Our daughter has a financial aid page set up as well, so I’m guessing she’ll get the thumbs-up. Unless she gets an amazing package, though–which is unlikely–she won’t be attending.
I have the new financial aid section also but the question is does anyone not have it?
We don’t know if everyone has this new section
anyone else deferred ED and still hasnt heard back?
me
My son was Also deferred ED and hasn’t heard back yet. Did anyone hear that was deferred? Will the deferred kids hear back same time as RD? The nerves are already kicking in.
@resnick, did you see a change in myslice for the financial aid page?
I apologize if this comes across as negative, but is anyone else starting to be turned off to Syracuse by this process? Of all the schools my son applied to, no other has stretched the decision process out so long or been so uncommunicative.
How does Syracuse notify you of a decision? By email or does my slice update first?
If it means anything, I have not gotten any decisions back from any of the regular decision schools yet! Most come out end of March! Hang in there:)
deferred ED and have new “2019 financial aid” tab up, but no news yet and no “award letter” listed yet.
@maffy66 I am
@txmtmom2022 Regarding additional financial paperwork and admissions. I just spoke to a parent who last year had NOT received acceptance email neither the 1st or 2nd wave… After she finished sending all the paperwork, she received the acceptance letter and financial aid together.
