My daughter got into the BFA program with a visual arts portfolio. She was awarded a $10,000 annual Dean’s scholarship. GPA: 3.771, ACT: 30
Still very expensive. She also got into Tyler School of Art, Mason Gross School of the Arts, University of Delaware’s BFA program and UConn. Lots of good choices all less expensive than Syracuse. Very proud of her though.
No idea what time the email came in since it went to her inbox not mine.
My Ds email arrived 6.44 - in PA
for those who have gotten in, were you all awarded scholarships?
What do your emails look like? I got my financial aid award letter but no acceptance letter is available? I’m confused
@wishfish no hyperlink there for me. Won’t let me click nothing. I do have stuff in my to do list so that’s probably why.
where do you check your decisions…??
RIP. Either I’m not in or I’ll find out next week. Yay… :-w
Accepted for Biochemistry (financial aid says “you have no financial awards at this time” so I’m not sure what that entails…) and a full ride for the Discover Florence program.

we got an email!!!
anybody get accepted to bioengineering?
@ski_racer @wishfish I am following your directions exactly but it says ‘You have no financial aid awards at this time’. I did get the $10K as stated in my acceptance letter for Dean’s but I don’t see that anywhere on My Slice.
i was accepted to newhouse and got my email at 6:40
I’m gonna leave this for an hour and come back with my fingers crossed
Bruuuuuh. This is the worst!
@djpistachio Hmmm. I did get an email about 20 minutes after my decision email with the subject “SU Fin Aid Award Notice” letting me know that my award letter was ready on MySlice. Maybe yours—for whatever reason—isn’t quite ready yet. I would wait a couple of days and call the financial aid office if nothing shows up.
@djpistachio they may not have finished your package. Make sure you have no outstanding items in your “to do” list. They will not post your package until all items are in. Financial aid will continue to roll out. Congrats on your scholarship!
Btw, merit scholarships are in your acceptance letter. The financial aid package includes that award, if any, and grants, loans and work study if offered.
Accepted to Whitman about a hour ago.
I think this is an early wave for the more competitive students that were accepted and received scholarships or a lot of grant/FA money based off what I’ve been reading so far
Any HEOP acceptances?
