Of all the schools my D applied to Syracuse has been a mystery. There is no communication at all. Nothing except for a financial aid brochure that came in the mail. Syracuse must be a very proud school. Very different at least on our end.

My son was accepted to the Engineering school. No merit though. Just work study! Doesn’t make sense.

my D was accepted today. No merit in email. 3.9 1350 sat, to A&S. Will need grant money for sure then. Nothing on my slice about financials yet. Has anyone else gotten financial info to include grant or aid?

Received merit via email and myslice tonight, have yet to receive acceptance letter…so does it come in the mail?

Letter in portal last Friday did not mention merit, and identical letter in mail today did not mention merit. Does say “PS Financial Aid office will contact you about any FA you may have applied for,” but I don’t think merit is handled by the FA office and, regardless, it sounds like merit awards already went out. So far, Syracuse is the most expensive school on the list, so that’s a big problem.
