My D got waitlisted also for Education today also. It says They will notify after June 1st? Does anyone know if they accept students off the waitlist any sooner?
My son was waitlisted Syracuse today. Engineering.

Of all the schools my daughter applied to I have to give Syracuse an A+ for being the most attentive. At one point she emailed the director of admissions at the visual arts school with a question and she heard back on a Sunday night, within minutes after the super bowl ended. After her portfolio interview she mailed a thank you note and got a personal email in return from the department chair and they corresponded for a while. It breaks my heart that the $10,000 merit scholarship doesn’t even come close to making this college affordable. After all that encouragement D was hoping for more. A girl in her AP studio art class got close to a full ride. Oh well. At least my kid got accepted to a few great art schools with generous merit aid. It is what it is. Still proud of her.

My son was waitlisted yesterday for Newhouse after being deferred from early decision.
Waitlisted for Newhouse. Still hoping we hear before June 1st but if not, that’s okay. They are still looking at us as being good candidates for the school, there just are not as many seats at the moment.
Last year, SU took approximately 3% of waitlisted students. I told my daughter to plan on going elsewhere and be shocked beyond reason if she gets in.
Yeah sorry but I’m committed somewhere else and talking to potential roommates and that’s that. June 1 is way too late of a notification date and being accepted off the waitlist probably means less financial aid and I can’t afford that. George Washington University Class of 2022!! Lol
Waitlisted for Falk. 6/1 does seem pretty late. Anyone have thoughts on merit aid if accepted off the waitlist?

Assume no merit aid. It’s been offered to the people they want.
