Syracuse Regular Decision Class of 2017

Bye Bye Cuse my D has commited to U of Florida last night. so its on to Gainsville rather than Syracuse anyway good luck to all my forum friends here at SU. Came down to Falk of UF smp I guess the weather and surrounding area was the final lynch pin.also I believe that UF has a little more to offer in expansive learning. Network is as good as SU .UF lacks the great history of SU and it is too big. the good thing though is the town of Gainsville is an awesome college town unlike Syracuse which in my and only my opinion is a wee bit run down. Do not reply to the last sentence because honestly facts are facts. In any event I wish all the best of luck in all your future endeavors. Never dreamed I would be chanting “Chomp Chomp Go Gators” instead of Go Orange. Again ,enjoy the Cuse it is a great school . signing off

I got the email of acceptance on Friday but my financial aid didn’t come through till Saturday. Sorry if I confused anyone with my delayed post.

So I’m thinking that since I haven’t heard back yet, it’s not looking too good for me

froelich: I’m in the same boat!

Still waiting myself! Good luck everyone still waiting going into the third wave.

Hmm does anyone think a total of 45,745 of grants and scholarships combined is good?

^ What kind of a question is that, of course it’s good.

@OrangeWhite22 - hope you monitor this for one last time. I’m glad everything worked out after all for your D and you with your frustration. Make sure to give them a piece of your mind on May 11th will ya’? :-)) Best of luck with your surgery so you can watch your D enjoy her college years.

is eveyrone actually sure its random? because i’ve been noticing only the really smart people have been getting in…

@fly mama its random I don’t regard myself as really smart. I have a low act(not accustomed to taking standardized tests) 24 but I have a high GPA. If it matters I’m a us cit educated abroad. They are still working on things, I am yet to receive my FA award. I know the wait is hard, good luck

I still haven’t received an admission decision from Syracuse yet, is this normal? I know other people have gotten theirs already… If it takes this long, does it mean i got rejected? Oh bte I live on the west coast (portland, oregon area)?? Anybody else not heard back yet?

@toptobottom thanks for the well wishes I wish you good luck and good health really will miss this forum.Good luck to all 1 more wave…fingers crossed…

@AleAshA95: I haven’t heard back yet either (VPA acting or MT). I live in Mass and I’m thinking it’s not looking good for me :frowning: Saw a post about someone getting a postcard that SU was impressed with their portfolio (assume not performance major)…did any MT or Acting hopefuls get a similar postcard?

Hey guys lol I’ve been stalking this forum for like 2 weeks now and finally decided to make an account. I haven’t heard back from syracuse which is terrifying me :/. I have a 1800 and 3.6 but idk i can’t shake the feeling i was rejected. What time do you think they’ll be notifying us tomorrow? Im soooo scared I’m rejected

I don’t think my stats were that spectacular and I was one of the first people to get their decision.

@lilmelonred did you find out via email?
