mystified by the school he was accepted to. He applied to Falk, Whitman and Newhouse, but was accepted here. Can anyone tell me
something about this school? There appear to be dual majors that may be appealing.</p>

<p>Daughter was accepted to Falk College of sports and Human Dynamics for the Social Work program with a very generous financial aid package that brings the total cost to a slight bit more than what we were offered from UConn. I think my daughter is going to pass on the Syracuse offer to stay closer to home and attend UConn. Good luck to those still waiting and congratulations to those who received their acceptance email. </p>
<p>Accepted to the College of Engineering! Financial aid package was $12,250, with an additional $12,000 merit scholarship. 1470/2230 SAT’s, 3.9 GPA UW, lots of EC’s, etc. Surprised to see that some people got a $55,000 package - wow. That’s almost covering full tuition PLUS room & board et al. Crazy, but congrats to you! And congrats to everyone who’s received an acceptance so far!</p>

<p>Hey, just because you haven’t received any emails today does NOT mean that you are automatically rejected!!! If you look at the pasts threads for SU’s RD applicants, you can see that there are definitely people that get accepted in the 2nd and 3rd waves!! </p>
<p>Congrats becbec! Were you differed at first? I was. I’m still waiting to hear… I don’t have nearly as good as SAT/GPa scores but I have a pretty impressive resume, and had two top people in the industry write my recs. Praying </p>

Even with the grant, student loans, work study, college savings, etc., this school is hugely expensive for us- $30,000 remaining, seriously? Wish we would have started the college fund much earlier…</p>

<p>@livvyyy123 No, I applied regular, was surprised to hear back today because I know their process is weird. I wrote about music industry goals in at least two of my essays so I think that might have helped? It’s not on my resume though so I think they’re looking for a good mix, you totally have a shot!!!
