SYRACUSE TRANSFER STUDENT

Hi I plan applying to Syracuse as a transfer student with an intended major of Mech Eng after this current fall semester. When I send my applications I will have completed 3 full time semesters at a community college in NJ that im curently enrolled at. I figured I could use this resource to help weigh the odds. My high school transcripts are horrific due to very bad family issues during the time, but upon entering community college I made a fresh start. I am a resident of NY state, and I have worked full time so far in college and still currently do as a professional custom cabinet maker. My tight schedule doesn’t leave a lot of time for extra curricular’s but some I plan to list are, “Fine woodworking”, “Hobby Machinist”, “Piano” “Guitar”
The classes I have completed are
Intermediate Algebra
C
(I did poorly on the final)

Finite Mathematics
B

HIS-114 20 Cent US Since WWII
A

Macro Economics
B+

Precal.Col.Alg&trg
A

General Psychology
A

20 Cent US to WWII
B+

Intro Philosophy
A

My current classes are with grades I am expecting:

Calculus I
B

Machine Tool Principles I
A

Physics I
B+

Problem Solving Using Technology
A

my current GPA is a 3.49 and should go up to a 3.523 after this semester, I know I don’t have all kinds of AP credits and lists of extra curricular’s, but when you work 40+ hours a week and go to school as a full time student, you eventually just run out of time.

Thank you to anyone who gives any kind of info

Did you end up getting in?
