I’ve been reading yalls posts for the past month seeing if you’ve all received news. I also applied as a transfer student. Tonight I got an email from the Native American counselor at Syracuse saying congratulations on my admittance to the school. (I’m a haudenosaunee promise scholarship applicant). I was confused because I didn’t have an official acceptance letter from the school and so I asked her about it. She said I should receive my official letter very shortly and she’s sorry she jumped the gun. I got in though, so hopefully you guys should know soon!!!

@SupaDupaFly5 I was actually rejected once before so this is me giving it another go. I applied for newhouse as a senior in high school, now arts and sciences since I switched my major
Anyone know anything about merit scholarships for transfers? I was admitted my senior year with $15k/year in merit but I (stupidly) turned down the offer. I’m not a community college student so I don’t qualify for the community college honor society scholarship, and I couldn’t find any other info. I know that my original 15k is probably gone for good but anything would be nice!

So hey everybody I just got my acceptance from Syracuse today at 3:38pm. I am so happy that they accepted me. Good luck to everyone else that applied hope all goes well.

@SupaDupaFly5 Nope, I applied to the Maxwell School. I think I heard back early because I applied last year and just had to reopen my application instead of creating a fully new file- didn’t submit the common app, no new scores processing etc…
@aihcxx Oh I see well thats good you didn’t have to pay the ridiculous costs of sending things ,and I think I heard back early because applied like months ahead. Now the real wait happens to find out about my FA package and to see if I can even afford syracuse
