Hi guys, this is mreynolds but something happened to my account and it won’t work so I had to make a new one. My other friends who applied ED to other schools have heard back only a few are waiting but they were given an exact date. Not knowing is pure torture.
do anyone know if you can get deferred or is it just accept/reject?

Syracuse responded so late for the past two years. If my sister heard earlier she would have went there
(using my friends account) I applied ED to 'cuse n still waiting to here… my friend (his account) applied ED to U Miami and they haven’t heard ether … they were told “late December” they dont know have a date
I really wish we had a definitive date; I couldn’t focus during school on Friday because of my anticipation.
I already received my acceptance decision to my safety school! But another of my EA schools are coming out the 16th, so it’s not JUST Syracuse that’s doing it a little later.
Does anyone know if decisions can be released on weekends? Or is it only weekdays?

Im pretty sure the decision date will be the 15th

i applied ED to the school of education. does anybody know if it is any easier to get into there? i know newhouse is super competitive and it seems like most ED’s are there but i haven’t heard much about SOE
Ik the education department is like a 65% acceptance rate RD so I can only assume it’s even easier the get in ED. I applied ED to education too! 
I’m applying as undeclared to the College of Arts & Sciences. How about that? i have like 3 really bad grades on my transcript tho (one failing regents (do they care about NY regents), one D on precalc, and one D for the first marking term for AP gov senior year). The rest of my application is realy good (grades above B, lots of extracurriculars, sports, good recs, etc) and my sat score is average. ahhh im really nervous.
@ithinkitskatie literally same but dont stress the regents i failed trig twice and only passed chem by one point! my guidance counselor says its not a big deal. gpa act/sat essays and extracurriculars are mainly what they look at i think we should be fine.
I should get accepted to Maxwell but nobody should have to pay $60k a yr for college. My EFC is around 5k. We are peasants and will hopefully get some financial/merit aid.
