Syracuse University 2021(2022) ED Applicants

I just called the office of admissions, and all they could tell me was “mid-December”. No exact dates, no confirmation or dispute regarding acceptances being sent out today. The woman I spoke to said that she doesn’t know when they’re being sent out, or even what the “mid-December” time frame means exactly.

Looking in past years, they never give an exact date over phone call, even if you call the day the results are being sent out they will still just give you the same mid December script

Yea I called yesterday and they said mid December

truthfully as I’m home sick today (did I stress myself into a cold? maybe.) I’m just focusing on Christmas because if I don’t focus on something I’m going to be watching the clock all day today. I’m also trying to lower my expectations so if I expect I’ll get denied hopefully we’ll have better news  But yeah the office can’t specifically say “oh yeah today” because what if the person who calls isn’t part of the wave that comes out today ya know. I 100% think half of us will know today and half next week because they close for Christmas. Maybe they’ll notify people right before they close for Christmas so nobody can call until January but I don’t see them being that cruel lol

I wouldn’t put it passed them to be that cruel

I also wonder which one of us will get a full scholarship

Where are you guys all from? Geographical location could be a factor too.
