My son was deferred from ED and was requested to submit any updated exams and mid-year senior grade, which he did. I don’t know when would we be hearing.

I called today, they said they would be starting shortly (did not say when is “shortly”) and most of the decisions would be coming at the end of March.
Hi guys, did anyone have an FA change/does it mean anything when you get one? A lot of people received their decisions today, I’m still waiting for mine but my FA tab says “No financial awards at the time” and under aid year it says 2018… could that mean anything?
@dino12487 There are few tabs that have been on my slice for a long time. Courses available tab, Financial tab with “You have no financial awards at this time”. And acceptance form, that is “unavailable to you”. People who have gotten acceptance noted that they could click on acceptance form and it would give them options to enroll or decline instead of saying unavailable to you at this time. Good Luck! @collegeselect makes sense. I’ve heard certain FA changes could be a good or bad sign on your admissions decision, however, I don’t know if this is that case. I didn’t get my letter yet so the form is still unavailable to me! Hoping this change on my FA tab means something positive.
I’ve been lurking on this thread for a while and I’m planning to apply for Whitman/iSchool RD next year. I was curious if anyone else did this and what kind of stats they had!
I applied to Syracuse University in December. I received my acceptance letter a week ago! (College of Arts and Sciences, Neuroscience). Syracuse has a phenomenal campus with great sports facilities and well-known professors. I look forward to contributing towards the field of research at Syracuse and of course, the campus life!

I applied ED into the school of Visual and Preforming Arts. Don’t see too many other people on here that did?
GPA is low at a 3.06 which is worrying me, but hoping other parts of my application will make up for it if anyone wants to chance me? Also it is the Art School, so I don’t think GPA matters as much as it would for a school like New House.

AWESOME interview!!! The girl was so nice and we were very similar. Definitely recommend anyone having an interview for Syracuse if it isn’t too late. I think it helped my chances a lot since me and my interviewer really bonded.

If anything I wish I spent more time on my portfolio but the in-person review definitely helped.
I really hope I get into Syracuse, it’s been a dream of mine since I was little. I’m feeling good about it but at the same time I know it’s a reach school and this whole admissions thing is kind of a crap shot.

I believe I got an email for mine less than a week after submitting. And it said nothing was missing, but I did send in everything a a few months ago before my application

I know my grades and test scores are not up to par with Newhouse admissions. I have testing anxiety which makes testing hard for me, but I laid that out in my essay. Will my broadcasting experience out-weigh my lower scores???
