<p>Hi, I'm really uncertain of my chances at Syracuse University, Boston University, & University of Texas at Austin as a PR major and would like to be chanced. </p>

<p>Illinois Resident, Class of 2016, African female
I took the PSAT but i haven't received my scores and I plan to take the ACT this Saturday.
Freshman Year: 4.0 then 3.8
Sophomore Year: ~3.7
Junior Year: ~4.9 (new school is on 5.0 scale)
I've taken honors core classes with 3 years in French but last year I failed Pre-Calc, so I'm taking it again but the regular version. I'm also taking regular History now since my new school doesn't offer honor US History and I wasn't prepared for APUSH. I mainly have As but a few classes with Bs & C in Geometry (8th grade).
ECs: Community Service Club with 80+ hours, French Club (2 years before i switched schools), college prep program, school newspaper
I plan on taking a communications summer program then an internship my senior year. </p>

<p>I know I'm mediocre compared to other but thanks if you can see what I can do to help my chances!</p>

<p>Oh, I also plan on taking AP Comp & AP Psychology if that helps </p>

Pretty good grades, however Syracuse’s Newhouse school is very competitive. Your ACT score is going to be a big factor.

I’m intensely working on ACT prep until I retake it in March, I’m hoping to get a 30+ but thank you. Would my lack of AP classes this year hurt me? Thanks for your help!
