I am an EDII applicant and wanted to start a thread for us to talk in!
These are my stats:
Hispanic female, first generation
GPA: unweighted- 3.5 weighted- 4.3
ACT: composite 28
SAT: (new) 1290
EC: editor-in-chief of the yearbook, executive vice president of DECA, varsity soccer, varsity cross country, senior class, HOSA, and other small clubs
Volunteer work: Broward animal care and adoption volunteer, raised over 2,000 for a local foundation, and started a domestic violence awareness campaign
Recommendations: didn’t read them but hopefully personal, i’m close with my counselor, and two teachers
Applied to Newhouse as a Graphic Design major, second choice College of Engineering and Computer science as a Computer Science major
Sounds like you would be a good candidate for a dual program as well. Newhouse and the iSchool offer a dual degree with a Newhouse major and an Information Management and Technology major requiring 141 credits. SU is great with AP/IB/CLEP and transfer credit.
You sound like a good candidate for both Newhouse and Computer Science.

Went well and his face lit up any time I seemed so in love with Syracuse ( which I am) and I was very descriptive and talked mostly about the campus, the academics, and if I felt that I fit in whenever I was talking about SU and then mostly about my academics and extracurriculars now in HS
